Our cooked Fix-BAF® Complete Menu Beef & Turkey is a special kidney food for chronically ill cats with kidney insufficiency. High-quality beef muscle meat forms the basis of this tasty complete food. It is complemented by turkey hearts and liver, as well as a generous portion of beef fat and blood. This balanced complete menu provides many essential nutrients through natural ingredients. The recipe is rounded off with individually calculated supplements. This targeted addition of supplements allows us to offer an especially high-quality and balanced complete food for cats with chronic kidney insufficiency.

Only Premium Ingredients

Unlike conventional kidney diets, our Fix-BAF® is free from grains and other plant fillers. Only a portion of pumpkin is included, providing important indigestible fiber. With a high meat content, our cooked kidney special menu is guaranteed to be a treat for your kidney-impaired cat. The phosphate content is reduced by 30%, calcium is supplemented to meet needs (Ca/P = 1.4/1), and protein content is adjusted to meet the lower range of requirements. All of this supports and relieves your cat with kidney issues.

How We Formulate Our Kidney Food

For our cooked renal complete menus, we use only high-quality muscle meat, along with increased fat and fiber content. To further reduce phosphate levels, we include cooked egg whites. The Fix-BAF® cooked kidney special menus are also low in sodium and contain higher levels of iron, B vitamins, vitamin E, and taurine. This is necessary as cats with kidney disease often experience deficiencies in these nutrients due to increased urination and reduced kidney function. The addition of pectin binds and helps remove toxins in the large intestine, which further eases the strain on the kidneys.

Please note: Our kidney-specialty food is significantly phosphate-reduced, so biannual blood tests are essential to detect any potential phosphate deficiency in your cat and to monitor the course of the disease under this diet.
