Oils for Cats – Natural Support for Health, Skin & Coat
High-quality oils can also make a valuable contribution to a cat’s diet – whether as a supplement to BARF feeding, mixed into wet food, or used to specifically support skin and coat as well as the immune system. In our range, you’ll find selected oils for cats that are tailored to the needs of carnivores and provide essential fatty acids of the highest quality.
Coat care from within – shiny coat, healthy skin
A healthy, shiny coat is not only beautiful to look at – it is also a key indicator of your cat’s overall wellbeing. Regular supplementation with high-quality oils – such as hemp oil or salmon oil – can help prevent dry skin, reduce itching and support the metabolic process of the coat. For coat care in cats, oils rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids are especially beneficial, as they promote skin regeneration and make the fur soft and glossy. Our Omega 3-6-9 oil is an ideal choice here.
Cold-pressed oils – visible purity
Our oils come from controlled sources and are cold-pressed whenever possible to preserve all valuable nutrients. Salmon oil for cats is particularly popular as it offers a balanced ratio of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids and is well tolerated even by sensitive cats. It also contains EPA and DHA – two fatty acids that can be especially beneficial for older cats or those with joint issues.
Wheat germ oil – the plant-based vitamin E powerhouse
While plant-based oils are generally only suitable for cats in small amounts, wheat germ oil is a useful exception. It is naturally rich in vitamin E – an important antioxidant that protects cells, strengthens the immune system and can support fertility. When used in moderation, wheat germ oil can be a valuable addition to a daily BARF diet.
Important supplement for BARF & wet food
When preparing a self-composed BARF diet, it is essential to provide the right balance of essential fatty acids. Even for wet food with a high meat content, adding a quality oil can help prevent deficiencies. Many vital fatty acids – such as linoleic acid and arachidonic acid – are essential for cats and must be supplied through the diet. The same applies to vitamin D, which is found in high amounts in cod liver oil. Our premium oils ensure your cat receives optimal nutritional support – without artificial additives.
A drop of health – easy to dose, highly versatile
Our oils are easy to dose, can be mixed directly with food or even frozen into complete meals if needed. They can be used as a daily addition or as a short-term course over 4–8 weeks. Whether for growing kittens, adult cats or seniors, targeted oil supplementation can support vitality at every stage of life.
