Our cooked Fix-BAF® complete menu Beef & Turkey is a special renal food for cats with chronic kidney disease and renal insufficiency. Premium-quality beef muscle meat forms the basis of this tasty complete food. It is complemented with turkey hearts and liver, as well as a generous portion of beef fat and beef blood. These natural ingredients provide essential nutrients and high-quality proteins in moderate amounts. The recipe is rounded off with essential supplements that have been individually calculated. Thanks to this targeted supplementation, we can offer a particularly high-quality and balanced complete food for cats with chronic renal insufficiency.
Only high-quality ingredients
Unlike conventional renal foods, our Fix-BAF® is free from grains and other plant-based fillers. It contains only a portion of pumpkin, which provides important indigestible fibre. Thanks to its very high meat content, our cooked special renal menu is guaranteed to be a real treat for your cat with kidney disease. At the same time, the phosphate content is reduced by 30 %, calcium is supplemented to meet requirements (Ca/P = 1.4/1), and the protein content meets requirements at the lower end of the scale. All of this helps support and relieve your cat with kidney disease.
How we formulate our renal diet food
For our cooked renal complete menus, we use only very high-quality muscle meat as well as an increased fat and fibre content. To further reduce the phosphate content, cooked egg white is used, which provides important proteins but contains no phosphorus. The cooked renal diet food from Fix-BAF® is also low in sodium and contains increased amounts of iron, B vitamins, vitamin E and taurine. This is necessary because cats with kidney disease often suffer from a deficiency of various important nutrients due to increased urine excretion and impaired kidney function. The addition of pectin rounds off our cooked renal meals. It binds toxins formed in the large intestine and helps eliminate them, providing additional relief for the kidneys.

Let op: Onze nierdieetvoeding is duidelijk verlaagd in fosfaat, daarom ligt de aanbevolen voedingsduur in eerste instantie op 6 maanden. Het wordt aanbevolen om vóór gebruik of vóór verlenging van de voedingsduur advies in te winnen bij een dierenarts. Regelmatige bloedcontroles zijn zinvol om een eventueel fosfaattekort tijdig te herkennen en het verloop van de aandoening tijdens deze voeding zo goed mogelijk te kunnen beoordelen.
Zorg ervoor dat je kat altijd voldoende vers water tot haar beschikking heeft. Wij raden aan om onze Fix-BAF® nierdieetvoeding vóór het voeren met ten minste 30 % water te mengen om voldoende vochtopname te garanderen. Aan de hand van het voorbeeld van een kat van 4 kg met een dagelijkse voerhoeveelheid van 180 g betekent dit dat 120 g Fix-BAF® renal + 60 ml water wordt gevoerd.
