Our cooked renal complete menu Chicken was specially developed for cats with kidney disease. Not only is it delicious and easy to digest, but it’s also extremely healthy. For our Fix-BAF® renal complete food, we use only high-quality ingredients, including chicken meat, hearts, liver, and fat, as well as pumpkin. These ingredients are complemented by natural supplements such as eggshell, salmon oil, and broth, which can optimally support the body of your kidney-impaired cat.

Unlike conventional kidney food, our Fix-BAF® is grain-free and free from other plant fillers. Only a portion of pumpkin is included to provide important indigestible fibers. Thanks to the high meat content, our cooked kidney special menu is guaranteed to be a culinary delight for your cat with kidney issues. The phosphate content is reduced by 30%, calcium is supplemented according to requirements (Ca/P = 1.4/1), and the protein content is adjusted to meet lower needs. All of this supports and relieves your kidney-impaired cat.

How We Formulate Our Kidney Food

For our cooked renal complete menus, we use only very high-quality muscle meat, as well as an increased proportion of fat and fiber. To further reduce phosphate content, cooked egg white is used. The cooked renal special menus from Fix-BAF® are also low in sodium and have increased amounts of iron, B vitamins, vitamin E, and taurine. This is necessary because cats with kidney disease often suffer from various nutrient deficiencies due to increased urination and limited kidney function. The addition of pectin completes our cooked kidney meals, binding toxins formed in the colon and excreting them to further relieve the kidneys.

Please Note: Our kidney special food is significantly phosphate-reduced, so semi-annual blood tests are essential to detect any potential phosphate deficiency and assess the progression of the disease under this diet.
