Our Fix-BARF® Kidney Special Food in the Beef & Turkey variety is a specially formulated complete food for cats with chronic kidney insufficiency. This high-quality renal menu consists of premium beef muscle meat without connective tissue, supplemented with turkey hearts, fat, and liver. This creates a tasty, healthy raw meat diet, which contains many natural raw ingredients. Complete with all the necessary supplements, our Fix-BARF® renal offers a high-quality complete food for your cat.

Not Comparable to Commercial Food for Kidney Disease

Unlike conventional kidney food, our renal complete menus do not contain grains or other plant-based fillers. Only a portion of pumpkin is included in this special food, which provides important fiber for healthy digestion. With its very high meat content, our Beef & Turkey Kidney Special Menu is a real treat for cats with kidney disease and is eagerly consumed.

The Special Features of Our Kidney Food

The phosphate content in our renal complete menus is reduced by 30%, calcium is supplemented to meet needs (Ca/P = 1.4/1), and the protein content is kept at the lower end of the required value. To achieve this, we use only high-quality muscle meat. Additionally, the recipe has an increased fat content of 15-20%, the fiber content is elevated, and cooked egg white is used, which is over 90% digestible and phosphate-free, further reducing the phosphate content.

100% Nutritionally Complete

The Fix-BARF® Kidney Special Beef & Turkey is low in sodium and contains elevated amounts of important nutrients such as iron, B vitamins, vitamin E, and taurine. Cats with kidney disease often suffer from a deficiency of these nutrients due to increased urine output and reduced kidney function. This was considered when developing the recipe. The addition of pectin rounds out the kidney meal, binding and removing toxins that develop in the colon, further relieving the kidneys. Each ingredient was carefully selected to ensure that the complete menu provides the best possible support and relief for your cat with kidney disease.

Please Note: Our kidney special food is significantly reduced in phosphate, so semi-annual blood tests are essential to detect any potential phosphate deficiency in your cat in time and assess the progression of the disease under this feeding.
