Essential Bones for the BARF Diet
Our whole chicken necks are an excellent choice for your dog's BARF feeding. The soft bones, with their high meat content, are easily digestible and provide plenty of essential calcium, which is vital for strong teeth, bones, and joints. Thanks to their compact size and soft structure, chicken necks are ideal for puppies, seniors, and smaller dogs who cannot chew larger or harder bones.
Nutrient-Rich Delight for Your Dog
Chicken necks offer not only a high calcium content but also other valuable nutrients like phosphorus and proteins. They come from chickens raised in Germany and are processed fresh daily in our in-house production. As an important part of the BARF diet, meaty bones like our chicken necks provide essential nutrients and contribute to a balanced diet. Simply combine the necks with other BARF ingredients like muscle meat, offal, and vegetables to offer your dog a healthy, species-appropriate meal.

BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a composition of 80% animal and 20% plant components. The animal portion should be divided into 50% muscle meat, 20% tripe and leaf tripe, 15% organs, and 15% raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant portion typically consists of 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
To calculate the exact BARF rations for your dog, you can use our free BARF calculator. Enter your dog's data, and receive the results for balanced daily and weekly rations within seconds.
For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of the BARF rations should be 95%. The remaining 5% should consist of fiber-rich vegetables like carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day and supplementing it with essential dietary supplements such as Omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed powder.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.
