Our breastbone consists of bone, meat, and a high cartilage content. This makes it suitable even for dogs who are still inexperienced at chewing whole bones. Not only beginner chewers benefit from the easy-to-chew structure and the substantial amount of calcium that the beef breastbone provides. Calcium is essential for strong bones and healthy teeth, so your dog also depends on getting enough calcium from its diet. Our large breastbone from German cattle is therefore the perfect choice to keep your dog entertained for a long time while supporting its dental care and supplying it with valuable nutrients.

Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a feeding composition of 80 % animal and 20 % plant-based components. The animal portion should be divided into 50 % muscle meat, 20 % tripe and omasum, 15 % offal, and 15 % raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant-based portion usually consists of 75 % vegetables and 25 % fruit.

For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of BARF rations should be 95 %, consisting of approximately 65 % muscle meat, heart, fat, and blood, as well as 15 % raw meaty bones and offal. The remaining 5 % consists of fiber-rich vegetables such as carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two meals per day and supplementing with essential nutrients such as omega-3-6-9 oil or salmon oil, as well as seaweed meal and, if necessary, cod liver oil.
All our BARF products should be stored at -18 °C in the freezer and thawed in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve at room temperature.
