The Fix-BARF® complete menu Horse & Turkey for cats with hyperthyroidism is characterized by its very low iodine content: A daily portion of 150 g, suitable for a cat weighing around 4 kg, contains just 16 µg of iodine. This ensures a balanced diet for your thyroid-affected cat without the risk of acute iodine deficiency.

The Fix-BARF® thyroid special menu Horse & Turkey offers a special treat for cats, with a high content of tasty horse meat, turkey offal, as well as salmon and salmon oil. We completely avoid adding carbohydrates, and only indigestible fiber in the form of carrots is included, which is important for healthy digestion. Of course, we also avoid artificial additives, preservatives, flavorings, and sugar. This ensures that your cat with hyperthyroidism is fed in a natural and species-appropriate way, helping you support her health optimally with our food.

The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Feeding recommendation
Fix-BARF® for Cats
The daily food amount should be approximately 25 - 30 g of food per kg of the cat's body weight. However, the specified food amounts are only guidelines and may vary significantly depending on age, breed, sex, and living conditions.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.

Wie gesagt ich bin begeistert, dass es so ein Spezialfutter für Schilddrüsenüberfunktion gibt. Das Fleisch kommt gefroren an und ist leicht zu verarbeiten und portionierbar. Ich brate es immer vor der Fütterung an und meine Kätzin liebt es. Ihre Blutwerte sind durch das Spezialfutter wieder im ganz normalen Bereich, meiner Kätzin geht es seither richtig gut. Deshalb ein grosses Dankeschön an eBarf!
