Description
Chicken and Rice Menu
Our Poulet BARF S menu offers a nutritious combination of fresh chicken muscle meat and gently cooked rice. This easily digestible blend is ideal for active dogs and is also excellent as a gentle diet for digestive issues or sensitive pets.
Energy from High-Quality Ingredients
The lean chicken muscle meat provides valuable proteins, vitamins, and minerals, while the added rice offers fiber and essential minerals like magnesium, iron, zinc, and potassium. This combination supports muscle development and gives your dog the necessary energy for daily life. The high potassium content in rice also promotes metabolism and has detoxifying and diuretic properties.
Additional Nutrients for a Balanced Diet
To round off the menu, we have included high-quality supplements: flaxseed and fish oil, which contain essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, supporting skin and coat health. Sea salt provides the necessary sodium, while seaweed meal meets the iodine requirement. The formula is completed with calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, magnesium, and trace elements like manganese, zinc, and selenium to ensure good nutrition for your small dog.
Bone-Free Recipe – with BARF-PERLE MineralVitPowder
We deliberately avoid bones in this menu, opting instead for our BARF-PERLE MineralVitPowder. This provides essential minerals and vitamins such as calcium and magnesium to optimally support your pet's health.

Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a feeding composition of 80 % animal and 20 % plant-based components. The animal portion should be divided into 50 % muscle meat, 20 % tripe and omasum, 15 % offal, and 15 % raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant-based portion usually consists of 75 % vegetables and 25 % fruit.
Tip: To accurately calculate your dog's BARF rations, you can use our free BARF calculator. Simply enter your dog's data and receive balanced daily and weekly rations within seconds.
For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of BARF rations should be 95 %, consisting of approximately 65 % muscle meat, heart, fat, and blood, as well as 15 % raw meaty bones and offal. The remaining 5 % consists of fiber-rich vegetables such as carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two meals per day and supplementing with essential nutrients such as omega-3-6-9 oil or salmon oil, as well as seaweed meal and, if necessary, cod liver oil.
All our BARF products should be stored at -18 °C in the freezer and thawed in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve at room temperature.
The BARF pyramid
BARF pyramid for dogs
The BARF pyramid shown alongside illustrates how BARF meals can be structured for a healthy, adult dog. As a general rule, rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % plant-based components, although not all elements need to be fed every single day. Feeding sick dogs or those with intolerances may look completely different. Therefore, the illustration should be seen as a general guideline only. Our nutrition experts are happy to help you with any questions about the right BARF ration for your four-legged friend.
