The specified food amounts are guidelines and may vary significantly depending on age, breed, sex, and living conditions. Please weigh your dog regularly at the start of feeding with Fix-BARF® and adjust the food amount according to the desired weight development.
Please also note that a dog fed with Fix-BARF® generally requires a smaller food amount compared to conventionally manufactured food. Exceptions are highly active dogs, as well as working and hunting dogs. These generally have a higher food requirement than normally active dogs.

The BARF pyramid shown alongside illustrates how BARF meals can be structured for a healthy, adult dog. As a general rule, rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % plant-based components, although not all elements need to be fed every single day. Feeding sick dogs or those with intolerances may look completely different. Therefore, the illustration should be seen as a general guideline only.
