Nutrient-Rich Component for Healthy BARF Meals
Our ground turkey carcass is an ideal addition to a balanced BARF diet. The carcass contains valuable bones, cartilage, and meat scraps that provide not only essential proteins but also vital minerals like calcium and phosphorus. These minerals are crucial for building and maintaining healthy bones, teeth, and joints in dogs and cats. The grinding process gives the turkey carcass a fine texture, making it easily digestible and perfect for puppies, seniors, or pets with sensitive stomachs.
Versatile Addition to Balanced Meals
Turkey carcass is not only nutritious but also highly versatile. It can be easily combined with other BARF components such as muscle meat, offal, or fruits and vegetables to create a well-rounded and varied meal. The fine consistency of the ground carcass allows for easy portioning, making it simple to adapt to your pet’s specific needs.

BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a composition of 80% animal and 20% plant components. The animal portion should be divided into 50% muscle meat, 20% tripe and leaf tripe, 15% organs, and 15% raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant portion typically consists of 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
To calculate the exact BARF rations for your dog, you can use our free BARF calculator. Enter your dog's data, and receive the results for balanced daily and weekly rations within seconds.
For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of the BARF rations should be 95%. The remaining 5% should consist of fiber-rich vegetables like carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day and supplementing it with essential dietary supplements such as Omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed powder.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.
