Tasty source of energy
Cow udder is very popular with dogs due to its slightly sweet taste and mild milky scent. Compared to muscle meat and offal, udder contains a relatively high amount of calcium, but more importantly, it provides animal proteins and fats. This makes our cow udder a natural and nutritious source of energy for your dog.
Perfect for lean, active dogs
Due to its high fat content, cow udder is ideal for dogs that are underweight or have an increased energy demand. Dogs prone to obesity should, therefore, only be given this rich BARF component in moderation. Udder is also a great BARF component during pregnancy and lactation to support the mother dog.
BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
