Low-Fat and Rich in Fiber
Beef tripe is a particularly tasty and extremely healthy delicacy for your dog. This low-fat stomach contains pre-digested food remnants that provide valuable nutrients, but above all, beneficial gut bacteria and plant fibers. Our beef tripe is excellent for puppies, as well as for dogs transitioning to a BARF diet and for overweight pets.
Fresh Beef Tripe
Tripe is one of the four stomachs of a cow, alongside the rumen, reticulum, and abomasum. It gets its name from its special structure, as the mucous membrane is folded in a pleated manner. Alongside muscle meat, offal, and bones, stomachs like the rumen and tripe are important components of a healthy and balanced BARF diet and should regularly be included in your dog's bowl.
Note: Tripe is a natural product that is not washed but only roughly cleaned during our production process. Therefore, we recommend checking the product for any foreign bodies before feeding.

BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a composition of 80% animal and 20% plant components. The animal portion should be divided into 50% muscle meat, 20% tripe and leaf tripe, 15% organs, and 15% raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant portion typically consists of 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
To calculate the exact BARF rations for your dog, you can use our free BARF calculator. Enter your dog's data, and receive the results for balanced daily and weekly rations within seconds.
For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of the BARF rations should be 95%. The remaining 5% should consist of fiber-rich vegetables like carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day and supplementing it with essential dietary supplements such as Omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed powder.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.
