Description
Simple BARFing Following the Prey Animal Principle
A balanced BARF diet consists of animal components like muscle meat, organs, and bones, as well as plant-based elements like vegetables and fruits. Our Complete Menu Beef & Lamb contains these ingredients in an optimal 80:20 ratio, following the prey animal principle. In addition to fresh beef muscle meat, the complete menu also includes essential lamb and beef organs, as well as minced beef breastbone for calcium supply. Fresh lettuce, beetroot, and apple provide important secondary plant compounds, fiber, and enzymes for healthy digestion.
Best Ingredients for a Healthy Diet
To ensure your dog receives all the essential nutrients, we use only fresh and high-quality ingredients from Germany in our complete menus. The prey-based complete menus are suitable for daily feeding and contain 80% animal and 20% plant components based on the prey animal principle. They should only be supplemented with essential nutritional additives like seaweed meal, Omega-3-6-9 oil, and cod liver oil. If needed, you can also add other ingredients like nuts, seeds, or herbs to further customize the meal.

Feeding recommendation
Complete Menus for Dogs
Daily food amount:
- Small dog: approx. 4% of body weight
- Medium-sized dog: approx. 3% of body weight
- Large dog: approx. 2% of body weight
These values should be considered rough guidelines. Depending on individual factors such as the dog's activity level, age, and breed, the recommended amounts may vary significantly.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day and supplementing it with essential dietary supplements such as Omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed powder.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.
The BARF pyramid

BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
