Green Beef Tripe – A Natural Source of Nutrients
Green tripe is one of the four stomachs of cattle. But why is it called green? The name comes from the fact that the stomach is offered untreated: it is simply shaken out during production and not washed. In this natural state, green tripe retains its characteristic greenish color even when frozen. Green tripe is particularly rich in nutrients because the stomach walls contain many healthy gut bacteria, which are no longer present in the washed white tripe.
Nutritious & Delicious for Your Dog
Green beef tripe provides valuable proteins, fibers, and pre-digested plant fibers. These contribute to your dog's healthy digestion while offering a tasty meal. By feeding green tripe, you can naturally support your dog's metabolism, gut flora, and immune system.
Quality from Germany
Our green tripe comes from German cattle and is freshly processed daily at our own production facility in Brandenburg for your four-legged friend. Packaging and shipping also take place directly on our farm, ensuring everything comes from a single source – for the best quality and absolute freshness!
Note: As this is a natural product, the tripe is not washed in our production but only roughly cleaned. It is recommended to check the product for any foreign objects before feeding.

Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a composition of 80% animal and 20% plant components. The animal portion should be divided into 50% muscle meat, 20% tripe and leaf tripe, 15% organs, and 15% raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant portion typically consists of 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
To calculate the exact BARF rations for your dog, you can use our free BARF calculator. Enter your dog's data, and receive the results for balanced daily and weekly rations within seconds.
For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of the BARF rations should be 95%. The remaining 5% should consist of fiber-rich vegetables like carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day and supplementing it with essential dietary supplements such as Omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed powder.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.
The BARF pyramid

BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
