Nutrient-Rich Mix with Full Flavor
Our red vegetable-fruit combination is a true nutrient powerhouse. The pumpkin it contains provides numerous valuable minerals like zinc, magnesium, and iron, which strengthen the immune system, support metabolism, and regulate insulin levels. Beetroot and iceberg lettuce have antioxidant properties, protecting against cell damage. The sweet apples are not only delicious but also promote the binding and elimination of waste and toxins in the small and large intestines due to their high pectin content.
Natural Fiber for Healthy Digestion
In a BARF diet, vegetables and fruits are primarily used to supply your dog with essential fiber. These are indispensable for healthy digestion and mimic the pre-digested stomach contents of natural prey animals. For your dog to optimally absorb the nutrients from plant-based ingredients, they should be pureed or cooked before feeding. Alternatively, you can rely on our convenient frozen vegetable-fruit mixes. These already contain a colorful selection of chopped vegetables and fruits and are easy to mix into the rest of the BARF meal.

BARF pyramid
The BARF pyramid opposite shows how BARF meals should be divided up for a healthy, adult dog. Normally, the rations consist of 80 % animal and 20 % vegetable components, although not all components need to be fed every day. Feeding sick animals or those with intolerances can look completely different. Our nutrition experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Feeding recommendation
For a balanced BARF diet for adult healthy dogs, we recommend a composition of 80% animal and 20% plant components. The animal portion should be divided into 50% muscle meat, 20% tripe and leaf tripe, 15% organs, and 15% raw meaty bones (RMB). The plant portion typically consists of 75% vegetables and 25% fruit.
To calculate the exact BARF rations for your dog, you can use our free BARF calculator. Enter your dog's data, and receive the results for balanced daily and weekly rations within seconds.
For adult healthy cats, the animal portion of the BARF rations should be 95%. The remaining 5% should consist of fiber-rich vegetables like carrots or pumpkin.
We recommend dividing the total food amount into at least two portions per day and supplementing it with essential dietary supplements such as Omega-3-6-9 oil and seaweed powder.
All of our BARF products should be stored in the freezer at -18 °C and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours before feeding, either without packaging or with sufficient air holes. Serve the meat at room temperature.
